A small sapling planted in 1934 by Shri Vile Parele Kelavani Mandal , in form of “Smt Gokalibai Punamchand Pitambar High School” transformed from Rastriya Shala , has grown under its caring and nurturing gardeners as an beautiful luscious tree of qualitative education.

In 2009-2010, on completion of 75 years the Platinum Jubliee was celebrated by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal under the able leadership of “Shri Amrishbhai Patel” by introducing the prestigious program “Parivartan’’.

Under this programme, began the noble task of providing all students of “Smt G.P.P High School” with best quality Uniforms, durable & sophisticated school bags, all season shoes, socks, notebooks & drawing books.

The Platinum Jubilee was celebrated on 3rd March 2009 at B.J. Sanghvi Hall where our visionary President Shri Amrishbhai Patel encouraged Gujarati students to rise, grow & scale great heights in all the fields of competitive world.

“Smt G.P.P High School” was given the honour of being the Mother Institution of SVKM where children blosoom using their mother- tongue as medium of education.

Great saint and author Shri.Haribhai Kothari, well known Gujarati writer Shri Suresh Dalal & successful actor Shri Paresh Rawal graced the occasion as Chief guests & sung the praises for our devotees of Sarawati.
